Since 2015, the Golden Pin Design Award has held the "Design Perspectives × Golden Pin Salon" event annually to explore and share the infinite possibilities within design. Over the years, more than 30 events have been hosted across 20 cities in Asia, with over 80 designers participating by presenting design concepts, sharing experiences, and engaging in group discussions. The 18th China Star Design Award, organized by the China Packaging Federation Design Committee and the China Export Commodity Packaging Research Institute, received 15,109 entries over a 70-day submission period (9,505 from the professional group and 10,273 from students).
Recognized by the World Packaging Organization and the Asian Packaging Organization, the China Star Design Award is a prestigious industry award, also serving as a gateway to global packaging awards and the national-level Packaging Science and Technology Awards.

Yinan Lyu, Co-founder and Brand Director of Z WAVE DESIGN, was invited to serve as a judge for the LOGO design contests of Nanshan District and Futian District, Shenzhen.
The official urban image LOGO of Nanshan District, Shenzhen was announced and officially launched on September 27, 2024. One logo represents a city. To better showcase the innovative, open and dynamic image of the district to the world and inject new momentum into its development, Nanshan District launched a global solicitation and evaluation campaign for its urban image logo system in December 2023. The organizing committee received more than 2,000 submissions from different countries and regions. After three rounds of expert reviews and extensive public opinion collection, the Nanshan District urban image logo system was finalized.
The official urban image LOGO of Futian District, Shenzhen was announced and officially launched on December 26, 2025. The global solicitation campaign launched in May 2025 attracted extensive attention and active participation from all sectors of society. After seven months of global collection, more than 2,700 works from 22 countries and regions were received. Following professional screening in the preliminary evaluation, public interaction in the popularity voting stage, and in-depth expert review in the re-evaluation stage, the winning works of logo design, slogans and LOGO creative explanation videos were finally selected through multiple rounds of strict assessment and layer-by-layer screening.
HELLO I AM Z WAVE Won Hehu International Poster Exhibition 2025 - Excellence Award

The HELLO I AM Z WAVE project, designed by Z WAVE DESING, won an Excellence Award at the Hehu International Poster Exhibition.
The Hehu International Poster Exhibition, held annually, is themed "Design Reshaping the Future." The competition focuses on five categories: "Thematic Creation," "Cultural Promotion," "Social Welfare," "Commercial Advertising," and "Dynamic Creativity." It brings together numerous designers' unique poster works, exploring topics such as urban design and life, and poster design culture, conveying the exhibition's philosophy.
Based on the innovative and revitalized use of Hakka walled village cultural resources, the exhibition aims to promote international poster culture exchange, introduce cutting-edge ideas and culture, and, through interaction and exchange with local culture, enhance the Hehu cultural brand, polish the cultural image of Longgang, and further revitalize the eastern cultural center. The event will also invite domestic and international design experts and scholars to form an art committee to participate in the nomination and judging process. Simultaneously, global promotion, poster design sharing sessions, exhibitions, and touring exhibitions will be held, creating a comprehensive and in-depth cultural event for all.

The Taipei City Government's Department of Economic Development has been organizing the "TDA Taipei Design Awards" since 2008, now in its 18th year. With the vision of "making design a driving force for shaping a better future," the awards openly solicit outstanding works, aiming to establish Taipei as a platform for creative design exchange. This initiative seeks to discover creative designs with commercial potential, encourage social design awareness, expand the influence of design, and enhance the added value of businesses and products, thereby boosting the development of the design industry.
To promote sustainable urban development and strengthen the close connection between the Taipei Design Award brand and the city of Taipei, the "Taipei Impact Design Award" was established in 2023. Chengan Xia, co-founder and industrial design director of Z WAVE DESIGN, has been invited to speak at Design Shenzhen on September 20th, focusing on the theme of "Design Going Global."
Design Shenzhen is China's leading design exhibition brand. The third edition of Design Shenzhen will be held from September 18th to 21st, 2025 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. As Asia's leading consumer technology and interior design event, Design Shenzhen 2025 will present a grand event showcasing selected content from multiple fields, including consumer technology, interior design, and industrial design.
Design Shenzhen 2025 will feature a new layout—the Consumer Technology Pavilion and the Luxury Residential Design Pavilion—interpreting the deep integration of technology and design from a comprehensive perspective through three major sections: consumer technology, luxury residential design, and commercial design. On April 25th, the Hong Kong Design Summit was held at Sky100 in the International Commerce Centre, Hong Kong.
The one-day event attracted over 1,000 guests from various industries, including industry leaders, government officials, heads of supporting organizations, and design professionals. It provided a unique platform for different sectors to help brands leverage professional design services to enhance their business value. The summit's series of events included the business matching activity DesignMatch, roundtable forums, thematic presentations, and the prestigious BDA Brand Awards 2025 and Global Design Awards 2025 awards ceremonies.
The Global Design Awards, formerly known as the Hong Kong Designers Association Global Design Awards, is Asia's flagship event and a large-scale interdisciplinary design competition and exhibition. Since its inception in 1975, the event has focused on the importance of design and how design improves and impacts quality of life. Last year, at the invitation of the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA), the Hong Kong Furniture Association officially became one of the supporting organizations of GDA2025. Published by Sandu Publishing, the APD Yearbook is the first professional design yearbook in the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to fostering cultural exchange among designers and providing a platform for showcasing outstanding works. Since its inception in 2005, it has served as a chronicle of design trends, styles, and voices, preserving a significant record of the industry’s evolution.
For the 20th edition, 4,379 submissions were received, with only 439 works from 269 entrants making the final selection—an acceptance rate of just 10.03%. Among the selected entrants, 49.8% were design companies, 46.5% were individual designers, and 3.7% were design collectives.

Following the announcement of this year’s Golden Pin Design Award and Golden Pin Concept Design Award seal winners, the finalists for the Best Design of the Year were revealed today (September 26). After the final judging session on September 9-10, a total of 138 entries were shortlisted for the Golden Pin Design Award, along with six entries for the Golden Pin Concept Design Award. These exceptional designs, originating from 12 regions including Taiwan, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Poland, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, will compete for the highest honor. The awards ceremony will be held on December 13 at the Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center, where the highly anticipated Grand Award winners will be announced.

Z WAVE DESIGN’s Three Works Featured in APD Asia-Pacific Design Yearbook 19

Three outstanding works by Z WAVE DESIGN have been selected for inclusion in the 19th edition of the APD (Asia-Pacific Design Yearbook).
Published by Sandu Publishing, APD is the first professional design yearbook in the Asia-Pacific region. Since its inception in 2005, it has been dedicated to documenting and promoting the work of exceptional designers, serving as an important archival record of design evolution in the region.
The 19th APD edition received a total of 4,588 submissions, with only 458 works from 284 entrants making the final selection—an inclusion rate of 9.98%.

JisuLife Brand Identity Design Won GDA German Design Award

The global brand identity redesign project for JisuLife, designed by Z WAVE DESIGN, has won the German Design Award (GDA) in the category of Excellent Communication Design.
The German Design Award is an international competition organized by the German Design Council, a prestigious institution dedicated to promoting brand, design, and innovation in Germany.
The German Design Council was established in 1953 by the initiative of the German Federal Parliament and is recognized as the leading authority in brand and design promotion in Germany.
Only works nominated by the German Design Council or submitted by individuals or companies through the organization’s nomination process are eligible for the award, with many nominees coming from international design award-winning works. This makes the GDA known as the "award of awards."

The China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (Harbin Trade Fair) is one of the major trade events approved by the Chinese government. Since its inception in 1990, the fair has been held annually and has become a prominent exhibition for China-Russia trade cooperation, as well as an essential platform for economic and trade cooperation in Northeast Asia.
The 32nd Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair took place from June 15 to June 19, 2023, at the Harbin International Exhibition Sports Center.
Z WAVE DESIGN was responsible for all aspects of design and artistic direction for this prestigious event, contributing to its visual identity and atmosphere.

In collaboration with China Post, Z WAVE DESIGN designed several sets of postcards, including "Good Things Come in Nines" and "Scenery of Shenzhen", which were released during the "HiGo Nanshan - Witness a Beautiful Life in Shenzhen" event.
The event, hosted by the Nanshan District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, held its opening ceremony on December 18, 2022, at the Wangxiang Tiandi Water Plaza.

The SZIDF (Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair) has always been committed to creating a world-class collaborative and shared design ecosystem and is renowned in the industry as "the world's top industrial design exhibition."
From December 17 to 20, 2022, the 10th SZIDF Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair took place under the theme "Diverse Design • Exploring the Future." The fair successfully concluded with a focus on the power of design thinking and exploring the future trajectory of design development. It discussed how connecting diverse forms and fields can promote the harmonious coexistence of opposites in a multi-universe. Representing the creative, young, and innovative spirit of Generation Z, Z WAVE DESIGN showcased at this year's event with the theme "Bursting with Creativity."
Z WAVE DESIGN - Design and Art Direction for 2022 X-Lake Forum in Shenzhen

The 2022 X-Lake Forum was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, with the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee and the Nanshan District People's Government as hosts. It was held concurrently with the 24th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) and marked the first national-level science and education forum in Shenzhen following the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
The forum opened on November 15, 2022, at the Shenzhen University City International Conference Center, and focused on the permanent theme of "Innovation and Sustainable Development". It centered around three key themes: "Openness, Integration, and Future", and aimed to create an integrated innovation system linking science and technology, education, industry, and finance. The event featured one main forum, 13 parallel sessions, as well as the X9 University and Research Institute Rowing League among other activities.
Z WAVE DESIGN was responsible for the entire design and art direction of this prestigious event.

Founded in 1963, D&AD (Design & Art Direction) is a globally renowned creative awards program organized by the London-based Design and Art Direction Association.
In 2021, creative professionals from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan collectively won 33 Pencils, including 1 Yellow Pencil, 6 Graphite Pencils, 24 Wood Pencils, and 2 Next Pencils—one of which was awarded to Yinan Lyu.
