Z WAVE IDEA BANG is the theme created by Z WAVE DESIGN for the SZIDF 2022 Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair.
As a young, cross-disciplinary team, we wanted to showcase our creativity and energy using some special elements. Therefore, we chose "pencil," "bomb," and "lightbulb" – three symbols of creativity – and combined them with unexpected elements such as cream, flowers, stars, and moss in an exaggerated form. This fusion creates a strong visual impact, mirroring the passion and energy that a young team exudes. The three creative carriers float above the water surface, symbolizing the explosive power of "BANG," enriching the theme.
We reinterpreted the letters of "Z WAVE IDEA," blending order and spontaneity with a strong sense of decoration. Using a surreal and unconventional approach, we made the theme clearer and more distinct, seamlessly integrating it with the visuals.
