After nearly a year of refinement, ARANIX, the new flagship lawn mowing robot from Airseekers Changyao Innovation, made its official debut at IFA 2026. It is the world’s first 4WD+4WS omnidirectional lawn mowing robot.

Unlike most competitors that focus heavily on technical specifications, this product excels with its chassis design. Its four wheels feature independent drive and steering capabilities, enabling zero-radius in-place turning, diagonal travel, and crab-like lateral translation. For the first time, a lawn mowing robot can perform "side parking". These once purely conceptual movement modes have been realized on ARANIX.

Navigation will no longer be a barrier for future lawn mowers. Chassis design represents the next competitive frontier. In other words, the robot that can turn more nimbly will handle your irregularly shaped lawn better.

The product is set to launch on Kickstarter, with a super early-bird price starting at $1,899 (MSRP $2,499). Live dynamic demonstrations were available at the Berlin exhibition.
